I booked a massage for my girlfriend and I a few days prior to her birthday. I love that they were able to fit us in and even took time on the preliminary phone call to find out each of our needs/wants. The rooms were nice and extremely clean. I felt they took COVID precautions seriously.
This was our first time here. Booked a couples massage for a late valentines day. Welcoming right when you come in. My husband got deep tissue i just went for the regular. 80min. And boy what a treat. The staff are very knowledgeable and thorough.
I gave them 5 stars because they are great overall. The last service I had was good but not enough time to do everything to my expectations. I had the glow massage. They use the sugar scrub and lotion which was great but the massage was lacking because of time.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
