From the reviews
Cheryl truly has the gift of healing. She is intuitive, compassionate and so knowledgeable about women's health from a holistic standpoint. I have received both acupuncture and massage from her, as well as counsel on supplements.
I am a busy mom of 2 kiddos under 5 and had been experiencing some pretty intense mood swings and anxiety. To say that my system was disregulated is an understatement.
I have received acupuncture and light therapy from Cheryl for almost a year. The benefits of light therapy combined with acupuncture have been truly remarkable. Cheryl initially recommended these treatments for my hand's inflammation, and I have experienced significant improvement with consistent weekly sessions.
I was definitely skeptical about acupuncture—having a bunch of needles all over my body didn’t exactly sound appealing. But with my thyroid depleted and not much else helping, I decided to give it a try. By my third session, I was amazed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
