From the reviews
I had the delight of seeing Dr. Amanda for her regenerative bodywork session. She utilized craniosacral therapy to help me reset my nervous system and cupping therapy to address my foot pain.
Dr Amanda is the best! She’s kinda, knowledgeable, listens to your needs and truly tries to find a solution to your issues. I’ve done cupping therapy and cranial sacral work for my ear, jaw and neck and I’m already seeing improvement after one visit. Would recommend her to all friends and family. So glad I found her!
I had a restorative bodywork session with Dr. Amanda that included craniosacral therapy, and the benefits have been remarkable. She has a gift for bodywork that is both gentle and precise.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
