From the reviews
There aren’t enough words to describe the level of care that is provided by Jake and his team at the Brigham office. I have spent a majority of my years in some form of physical therapy and up until I began my sessions with Summit, most my care had been minimal hands on care.
I struggled for several years with pain in my elbows. I developed tingling and numbness in my right hand and eventually had carpal tunnel release performed on my right hand and ulnar nerve release performed on my right elbow. This helped with the numbness but I continued to have pain in both elbows.
I would say, 'Summit Hand Therapy' is the best Hand Therapy Facility out there. My left hand has been paralyzed since a baby. I saw a change in my hand in the first month I saw them. The hand is more relaxed since coming here. I love 💝 the workers. They are very supportive!
I had LRTI surgery in January and I would not hesitate to recommend Summit Hand Therapy to anyone! The staff in Brigham City (and Farr West) are awesome! Every one of them--Jake, Kristen, Beau, Sarah, and Tracy--is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and they work together as a team really well.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
