From the reviews
Stratford Acupuncture is a gem. Joe and Elizabeth go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and valuable information aiming to heal the root cause. During my consultation, Joe attentively listened and actively created a personalized treatment plan.
I went to this clinic a couple of weeks ago and feel amazing. Almost at 100%. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and welcoming. Joe was very professional, attentive, and thoroughly explained the process which put me at ease.
Dr. D is amazing. Anything from feeling tired to stomach issues, back pain, headaches. I come here. I referred my boyfriend here for back pain and he went from not being able to move to walking out of the office completely normal.
I’ve been dealing with chronic plantar fasciitis for over two years, and Stratford Acupuncture & Nutritional Wellness Center is the first place where I experienced real, lasting relief. Before coming here, I had tried everything.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
