What clients say about the cupping here
“Some of the most professional and caring folks I've ever been seen by.”
“I am a veteran and typically a pretty tough one to crack but she coached me pretty quickly into feeling comfortable and it was healing to feel so seen and heard.”
From the reviews
I recommend that other veterans realize they have this option for massage therapy. I do recommend
One of the best places I have ever been. Such caring and compassionate care from all the people there Lu the massage therapist is hands above any therapist I have ever seen. She truly cares for you and wants to ensure your visit is a good one. Everyone makes you feel welcome and at home.
Dr Frazier is really great and very compassionate. She has given me greater relief with my lower back pain than those injections that I was regularly getting. She’s given me my life back by the grace of Yahawah. I’m doing things I haven’t been able to do in 2 years. Kudos to her.
Some of the most professional and caring folks I've ever been seen by. They don't overbook and physical therapy in this location is a nice time rather than something to muscle through. I've yet to meet a single person working here that wasn't pleasant and kind.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
