I began seeing Dr. Liang for the treatment of some very intense post-Covid skin issue symptoms. I was experiencing an unprecedented psoriasis outbreak, to a degree that I’d NEVER experienced before, about a month and a half after recovering from Covid.
I don't know how anyone who deals with serious pain cannot or does not benefit from being treated by Dr. Liang. I have traveled all over the country working with horses. The horse industry has found acupuncture to be beneficial for their athletes, the horses, many years ago.
I’d been dealing with sciatic pain for the past few years. I’d been to neurologist, PT, chiropractor(which helped, but only for so long), but on my very first visit to Dr Liang, I described my condition and she started a treatment rendered for that. After my very first session, I noticed IMMEDIATE improvement!
I drove all the way from Mississippi to see Dr. Liang. I was not sure about this doctor but Dr. Liang quickly diagnosed my condition and treated me, gave me lots of advise. Not only that she is so kind and thoughtful. She is not just a doctor, she has such a kind heart and such a good doctor.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
