No complaints. Everyone who works here gives excellent service. Robin, Torey, and Margaret, and I am sure everyone else that works here as well, go above and beyond to provide top notch care and service. Acupuncture and massage with my therapists have helped my health tremendously, both mentally and physically.
I have had body work treatment from Margaret, Cory and Torey. They each have a unique style and specialty that are effective independently as well as a cohesive treatment. I have been dealing with chronic cervical and upper back pain.
I can’t say enough good things about the services provided by Stillwater Wellness. I started with massages with different therapists. They all had their unique approach but had their 10+ years min expertise and dedication to my wellbeing in common.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
