From the reviews

Dr. Karina Klimtchuk—the owner of Kai Wellness— is simply superb in the many ways she fosters healing, health, and corporeal fitness. I have known her and her work for many years, all held softly in her deep respect of her patients, her clients, an assuring presence.

★★★★★ — Bruce, Oct 2023

Once again Doctor Karina Menali has performed her magic. She has given me the ability to get around without a cane. She has my vascular surgeon scratching his head. He does not have the ability to give me the circulation that she has been able to . She also has helped me with so many heart issues and such .

★★★★★ — Jim, Jun 2026

Karina goes beyond validating my feelings, she welcomes and embraces them. This is true health care. I have never felt more heard and truly seen by a practitioner. She treats the whole person. She is skilled, knowledgeable and reassuring. Her space is warm, inviting, and comforting.

★★★★★ — Djuna, Apr 2025

Karina brings in her practice, the highest level of loving care and concern for her clients. She listens closely and tailors the treatment for the individual's needs. I highly recommend her for any of the modalities she practices. She's the best!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
