From the reviews
I have been using dry needling for the past 10 years; I've tried everything treatment wise and dry needling is the only treatment I have found that gives me relief from my painful chronic muscle knots.
I was so impressed with her knowledge and treatment of my shoulder and neck pain for my very first visit. My pain and muscle spasms i had for almost 2years was improved so much that I can't believe just after 1 treatment of dry needling and infrared cupping. I m so grateful for Dr Tatiana.
I was new to dry needling and really appreciated Dr Schmitfranz walking me through the procedure. We had good conversation about my history and she listened to my concerns and treated my problem areas. I was pleasantly surprised my initial visit included dry needling, cupping and massage.
For me, running entered my life much later than most (at the age of 44). My first run was in 2016 and I recall that ½ mile being one of my most uncomfortable moments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
