Sept, 2025. As predicted below, I’ve just completed my second round of PT at SportsCare, this time for a total knee replacement. Once again, they brought me from a wounded post-op to a return to complete mobility and flexibility. I could not have asked for better care or results. The staff is excellent!
The team at SportsCare PT in Millburn is fantastic! I cannot recommend Mark and Rachel enough. I have received incredible support and care while recovering from a ruptured Achilles. There is ample individualized work and attention given to each client, and you can tell everyone genuinely cares.
Sportscare is an excellent option for supporting your physical therapy needs. The facilities are clean and staff is professional and friendly. Rachel took the time to assess my needs and listened to all my concerns.
The SportsCare Physical Therapy team really cares about your recovery. They are courteous and friendly. Currently, there are 2 Physical Therapists on staff - Rachel and Mark who work with all the patients who come in for therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
