From the reviews
I was dealing with really bad pain in my back and neck and Hannah did cupping and guasha. The results were fantastic. She’s very knowledgeable. I I highly recommend Hannah if you are dealing with chronic pain. She’s amazing!
I came to Hannah with a sore lower back and hip discomfort. The morning I had my appointment with her, I could barely bend over. As a CrossFitter, I wanted to see someone that served the sports and athletic community. I saw on her website that she treated athletes decided to give her a try.
Hannah has helped me a great deal over the years with a variety of areas of health concerns. She especially helped me get through the difficulties of pregnancy. Hannah helped out a great deal during my first trimester when it came to my morning sickness.
I stick to pretty much traditional medicine, and I have never been to acupuncture before. However, I have had an issue with my shoulder for over four months, and neither physical therapy nor orthopedics had been able to give me relief, so I was willing to try anything.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
