What clients say about the cupping here
“If you are looking for the perfect balance between deep tissue and a relaxing massage, this is your girl!”
From the reviews
Micaela is a wonderful massage therapist! I appreciate how accommodating she is for scheduling, and the fact that she travels to my home for my massage sessions is a double win for me. She is very calming and doesn’t chat during the session, which makes it that much more relaxing.
Micaela is fantastic. Very respectful of my home and always prompt. She gives excellent massages as well. She good at addressing all of makes aches and pains and releasing them. I would highly recommend her!
Micaela has saved my back! When the stressors of life get too much or I move in a way I shouldn’t, I start experiencing problems with my back that snowball into increasingly severe back spasms. Micaela is the only massage therapist that has been able to stop that downward spiral in one session.
@spokanetherapeuticmassage works amazing things on the body! I’m typically a lighter touch kinda girl but she has been one of the only people where her pressure is so well balanced and grounded that I feel like putty in the best way afterwards!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
