From the reviews

I started lymphatic drainage massages with Sophia at 35 weeks pregnant, and I honestly wish I had discovered it sooner! My doctors never mentioned how beneficial this could be during pregnancy. After every session, I feel so much better—less swelling, improved circulation, and relief from back pain.

This was my first lymphatic drainage massage and I’m so glad it was at Aesthetic Coterie. Everything about the experience felt luxurious and personal. The space is indeed aesthetic, but also cozy and inviting. Caitlin was kind, knowledgeable, and maybe a little bit magic.

★★★★★ — Neleasa, Feb 2026

I had a FANTASTIC lymphatic drainage massage with Sophia just over a week ago. She was super kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience incredibly relaxing. I noticed a visible reduction in swelling and felt lighter and more refreshed afterward.

★★★★★ — Alix, May 2025

I had a total detox lymphatic drainage massage yesterday at Aesthetic Coterie with Sophia, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about how incredible it was. I left feeling so light, almost like a weight had been lifted off my entire body.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
