From the reviews
I've been to a lot of manual therapists over the years, and Todd is without a doubt at the top of my list. He has a great skill for not only listening to your concerns but also listening to your body, really feeling out what's going on inside. Then of course he has a number of techniques to get at the issue.
Professionally competent, empathetic to his clients, kind manner in dealing with people. Great listener and problem solver. Todd is an outstanding individual who cares deeply about those he helps. His skills have allowed me to feel better than I have in quite some time.
The last time I saw Todd was 2015 then I had to move. I went back to see him today after moving back to the area since I have been in pain for years and the physio I had been seeing before could only help so much.
Great experience! As a new patient, Todd took the extra time to really understand the issue and therefore be able to strategically place the needles. He explained his rationale for everything and what to expect. He also provided guidance for what to do to help the issue in between appointments.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
