Every year my wife and I make our "Pilgrimage" to Soulstice. We come to Denver to see family at Christmas but no visit is complete without a massage at Soulstice. We've experienced several massage therapists there and have never been disappointed.
I am always well taken care of here. Sandra is always friendly and helpful in scheduling my appointments. Relaxing and calm atmosphere. Charles is amazing! I felt better after my massage than when I came in. He also showed me some stretches to do at home.
I’ve had an amazingly helpful recovery from Ann Brooks and her staff. I had a shoulder replacement in May. Between PT and Soulstice ~ I am not in pain and have most of my mobility back. The experience I have had at Soulstice is very personal and positive. This office is about healing and humanity.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
