From the reviews
I’ve had some of the best massages of my life here, and that’s why I keep coming back. The vibe is always welcoming, calm, and relaxing from the moment you walk in. I come at least once a month, and every session is consistently amazing.
I always have a great experience at SolEscape Healing Arts. The staff is friendly, and the environment is calming and serene. Etienne Pait is an amazing massage therapist who combines his deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology with his compassionate, healing presence.
By far one of the most welcoming, calming and rejuvenating places for self care. I absolutely love my massage therapist Rachel, and her energy she gives in each session is always like I’m her only client of the day.
I'm trying to recover from a work related repeated stress injury from 4ish years ago, c3-c7 laminoplasty surgery was done a touch over 2 years ago. I have what I believe to be nerve damage (via Dr's) + significant muscle issues which I'm now finding out. I've had 3 sessions with Alex thus far.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
