From the reviews
About two months ago, I started having intense low back pain on my left side. I scheduled an appointment at Soleil Physical Therapy, where Dave conducted my initial assessment. He is incredibly knowledgeable and quickly pinpointed the issue.
I went in for issue with my knees (and walk), which had persisted for many many years. The staff at Soleil was very nice– they're all welcoming and friendly, and the place's also quiet and calm. My therapist, Qui, was great. He always began the sessions by asking if I had any questions and was happy to answer them.
I’ve been to Soleil for a few different injuries and was a patient of Ron and Dave. I thought I was going to need surgery, but they are the BEST! The initial assessment was incredible. They were able to find all kinds of muscle and tissue anomalies (that previous physical therapists were unable to identify) like magic!
I came into Soleil for treatment for thoracic outlet syndrome while on the (long) waiting list for a big name hospital’s PT program. At the time, I was in a lot of discomfort and had almost nonstop electrical tingling in one of my hands due to nerve impingement. It didn’t take long before I was feeling much better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
