Five stars for An Japanese Spa! Took my GF here for her birthday-she got the Classic detox scalp therapy and was so happy with it. I tried the Cupping massage and it was great; it really worked out the pain and stress in my back. We'll be back for sure!
This was such an amazing experience. I struggle with psoriasis on my scalp and holy wow the difference before and after was absolutely incredible. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, the staff was attentive, kind, and caring.
Absolutely loved my experience here!!❤️ I got the 70 minute hair detox and my dandruff was no where to be found afterwards. It was very relaxing and all of the workers were extremely friendly. This + pho countryside afterwards = a good time
Just book an appointment already. This was the most unexpectedly wonderful self-care treatment I've had in a long time. It is so relaxing and I left feeling lighter and taller (which doesn't really make sense but 🤷🏻♀️).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
