From the reviews
i’ve gotten 3 body works sessions here so far. i’ve tried reiki, lymphatic drainage and myofascial release massage and all 3 have been absolutely fabulous. every practitioner i’ve had is beyond experienced and knowledgeable, and truly wants to help.
I am fortunate to have found Skin to Soul and connected with Reve to get a myofascial release massage. I have decades long gut issues and feel that I am on the way to resolving them thanks to the care I received. Reve asked many questions and sought my feedback along the way. Can't wait for my next appointment!
My massage was fantastic. Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable and targets the areas of concern with the necessary massage techniques including myofascial release. I felt SO much better after my massage and continue to feel the benefits days later.
Dooley gave me a great combination of deep tissue, myofascial release and passive stretching. I recommend him for a massage for tight muscles and neck or back soreness.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
