From the reviews

Ashley has been amazing to work with. I’ve been sick with long covid for almost a year and was getting worse before I started acupuncture. I was struggling to be seen by traditional medical doctors and being listened to and provided with solutions when I was seeing them.

★★★★★ — Chloe, May 2023

Six Branches Family Acupuncture is a great place! I'm more relaxed after each visit. My whole body feels less tension and my mental state seems to be refreshed. I've also been dieting a little better; eating more fruits and oatmeal and it has also helped me with healthier digestion.

★★★★★ — Jeremie, Feb 2023

Meaghan is absolutely wonderful, I cannot say enough about my positive experience at Six Branches and in particular with Meaghan. I have never felt such genuine care and compassion from a health care provider that I feel from my visits to Six Branches.

★★★★★ — Aileen, Feb 2020

I saw Naomi for fertility concerns. She was kind, supportive, and clearly very skilled. Her tailored treatment plan for me helped me conceive within 4 months of weekly treatments. I highly recommend her practice for anyone trying to conceive or improve their cycle overall!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
