From the reviews

I sought treatment for Infertility / Fertility focused acupuncture and so happy I met Dr. Shirley McWilliams. IVF treatment is so stressful and her treatment plan included points to help prep my body for IVF success as well as stress management. She made sure I was comfortable, warm, and relaxed.

Shirley and her staff are amazing to say the least! At first, I wasn’t to sure about trying acupuncture while recovering from back surgery. Once I meant with Shirley, and explained everything, we came up with a plan to get me back on my feet. I have so much love and appreciation for the whole staff...

What a great experience. Every time.❤️ If I could give 10 stars, I would. I have received the best care from everyone there. They have a very informative website that can answer most of your questions. Starting with Stephanie, (my apologies , I called you Jessica), at the front desk!

I was reluctant to make an appointment but I finally did. Shirley was very patient and reassured me it was painless. I have had relief on my back, neck, knee and foot. I will continue to make future appointments. I like the fact that I have had no need for pain meds which wonderful for my body.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
