What clients say about the cupping here
“My experiences have been positive, she is very professional , most caring and engaged practitioner I have ever met.”
From the reviews
I’ve been seeing Ms. Sheridan since December 2024. She has helped me tremendously with several issues that western medicine kept dismissing for the last 6 years. I highly recommend paying her a visit.
Emilie has been such a blessing! My whole family sees her and there is no other acupuncturist or provider I would trust more. Her sweet temperament and vast knowledge allows for the most welcoming and healing environment.
I was suffering major nerve pain from a shifted L4 and L5 vertabrae. Emilie's treatments made a world of difference in my ability to function pain free and not miss any work due to my sciatica. If I lived closer I'd utilize her treatments for my overall health.
My experiences have been positive, she is very professional , most caring and engaged practitioner I have ever met. She is very knowledgeable , innovative in various approaches in reaching and delivering the best outcomes. I truly enjoyed my sessions with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
