From the reviews
Jin treated me regularly for 7 years. It really helped with managing the pain and muscle spasms from my connective tissue disorder. I’ve seen sports medicine, and other office offering all sorts of acupuncture, cupping, or dry needling, and can tell you that Jin is the real deal.
I began acupuncture sessions with Jin Ma about 11 years ago after a knee replacement. Jin was able to get swelling down so that a physical therapist could work with my knee.
I have seen Jin for half year. Jin has healed my mouse shoulder and neck pain, my digestive system has been regulated after her acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements. She also suggested some healthy diet habits. I have totally relaxed during the treatment.
Jin is an amazing acupuncturist and person. I have been seeing her for over two years and every appointment I leave her feeling more relaxed and healthier. In her kindest words she tells me, "I need to get my qi/chi flowing".
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
