From the reviews

Jordan Jensen and his teammates at Synapse Physical Therapy are masters of both the art and science of PT. I’m an avid 60-year-old cyclist recovering from a high-side road bike crash in June 2023.

The folks at Synapse PT are amazing. I’d highly recommend them. I’ve been seeing physical therapists at Synapse PT for the past 2+ years due to recurring chronic health issues caused muscle weakness and pain. The folks at Synapse always greet me with a smile. They are always friendly.

I have been going to Synapse, in Superior, to recover after ACL and Meniscus surgery and I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve dealt with many physical therapists throughout my professional rugby career, but none have been quite like the people here.

★★★★★ — Zach, Apr 2026

I have just started working with Darshan and the team at Synapse Physical Health in Superior, CO after a total hip replacement - they were the first team to be open and responsive to my call for Physical Therapy and had almost immediate availability.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
