From the reviews
Best lymph massages and teas. The golden milk, hemp horchata, and mojteato are phenomenal. Madilyn is awesome. For massages, Llorna is the best. She knows exactly what I need every time and is always so friendly. I tried acupuncture for the first time here with Sheri and she is also wonderful—very knowledgeable!
I wanted to take some time to highlight my massage therapist at Serasana, Evan. I’ve been getting professional massages for over 10 years and have seen many therapists in many cities. I’ve only seen Evan twice, and he has surpassed all therapists I’ve ever been treated by.
Unclear how they've been open for 3 years and barely have reviews. Somehow I missed this place thinking while driving by it was a salon. After seeing just about every Yelp review mentioning the same 2 girls, I decided to try someone else. And that massage guru was....Katrina!
This was my first time to Serasana and it will not be my last. Immediately upon entry we were greeted and offered tea before and after our couples massage. The mood was set and I must say it was wonderful. My massage therapist was Amanda who treated me like a king. She was kind, genuine, and so attentive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
