From the reviews
This place, Megan, and the ambiance you feel when you walk into here is nothing short of serenity. I started my journey at Coyote Herbs & Acupuncture almost a year ago after moving from out of state.
After my treatment with Megan I could finally breathe again. I can’t believe how much she helped my allergies and asthma after just one treatment. The clinic space is beautiful. She also made a custom herbal formula in house which is proving to be beneficial as well.
Relief and Results at Coyote Herbs and Acupuncture:) I highly recommend Megan McFarland's acupuncture and herbal therapy services! Megan is professional, kind, considerate, and compassionate, making the experience incredibly welcoming. The clinic itself is clean and inviting, and Megan's expertise is truly impressive.
I am so thankful to have found Megan and Coyote Herbs & Acupuncture! I initially was searching for someone to help with ongoing sinus issues and found Megan to be intelligent and knowledgeable about the body and how all parts of the body are related and affect one another.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
