From the reviews
I’ve been seeing Dr. Stef for years and it is comforting to know I am always in good hands when I see her! It started with chiro appointments when I injured my back years ago, and I’ve gotten a number of treatments from her since.
Being welcomed by Mary the receptionist and sitting in the waiting room while sipping a hot cup of tea was such a great way to begin my experience at Seneca Springs! Dr. Kayla Gawlak is an amazing and knowledgeable Chiropractor. She is gentle, warm, educated and easy to talk to.
Dr. Stef and her staff are amazing! I started going to Seneca Springs Wellness for acupuncture to address nerve and back pain post car accident, and I’ve never stopped! I always leave feeling ten times better than I did walking in, and the immediate relief and improvement I feel after treatment is unparalleled.
I started seeing Dr. Stef for acupuncture last year in March after a 3.5 year infertility journey. I gave my full trust to her, her skills, and her expertise and I’m forever thankful I did. In September I found out I was pregnant without using IVF! I’m currently 35 weeks pregnant and feel amazing!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
