From the reviews
I’ve been going to see Erin DeGraw for the last 3 months. I had been having shoulder and neck issues for roughly 4 months and she came highly recommended by another client of hers. It was also recommended I try a cupping massage. After my first session I began to notice relief almost immediately. Highly recommend!
I had a massage with Emily Ruta a few months ago, and forgot to leave a review! But she’s worth leaving a review for because her massages are the best! I’ve only been seen by Emily twice, but both experiences were absolutely phenomenal!
I have been going to Saratoga Sports Massage for a year now. I went specifically for TMJ challenges and Rachael was amazing. I did half hour sessions with her and we just focused on my neck, jaw and head. She is amazing. As I started to feel better, we moved on to one hour full body massages.
I have been to Saratoga sports massage a number of times, and every time I walk away feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and refreshed. Erin in particular is absolutely amazing. I have had many massages from multiple therapists over the years, and her sports and deep tissue treatments are unparalleled.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
