Lijuan is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I had massages in different countries but her technique is above and beyond. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot stones and hot towels on my back, face, and feet. It was truly relaxing. After the massage, I felt completely relaxed and unstressed.
I had a really sore neck today and my regular massage therapist was booked a couple weeks out. I messaged Lijuan at Sage Massage and she was able to see me within a few hours. Her technique was amazing and I really enjoyed the hot stones and hot towels for my face, neck and feet! Overall a great experience!
I was visiting in the area, I was so beat up and in pain after long flights, I really need a massage. I found Juan from internet. I was lucky she was able to fit me in the next day, she was booked up. I arrived 15 mm before the time of my appointment.
I was experiencing tingling, numbness and a burning sensation in my arm, which was waking me every hour or so throughout the night, for two weeks. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
