From the reviews

I am so glad I found this business. I always hesitated to do acupuncture, but I really think finding this place made me a believer. Adalis takes such good care of me. From the first session I felt a difference, but I continue my sessions as I want to continue to feel good.

★★★★★ — Aristea, Feb 2026

Let me start by saying I do not like needles at all but my migraines have been so intense and nothing doctors have tried has really helped. I am so glad I chose Sacred Waters as the detailed care, explanations and professionalism put me at ease instantly where I almost fell asleep in my first appointment.

★★★★★ — Leanna, Mar 2026

I had my 2nd acupuncture session with Dr. Adalis Maisonet Saturday the 22nd and I came into the clinic with a pain level 7/8 and extremely congested with painful sinus pressure. After an hour working on me, I left her clinic sinus pressure gone and arthritis pain level 3.

★★★★★ — Darrell, Nov 2025

Adalis worked wonders for me and my morning sickness. When I first started, I was sick multiple times a week and constantly nauseous. I had little appetite and even less energy. Within 4 weeks I had my appetite and my energy back and was not getting sick at all.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
