So I'm at least 3 years late in writing this review but better late than never, right??? I've been seeing Kendall monthly for years and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I'm not into mani/pedis or any other type of pampering so this is my self care treat. Kendall is absolutely amazing.
I treated myself to a massage this weekend and it was absolutely amazing! I found Kendall through a google search and noticed that she's a small biz owner, which I love supporting!
Kendall is an excellent massage therapist who listens and make each visit relaxing and tailored to what you want. Her approach makes it clear she cares about people and she treats you like a living breathing human being during the massage. I can't say the same for other places that you really shouldn't envy.
Hands down the best massage you will receive. I started going to Kendall about 1.5 years ago. I was gifted a gift card to her and forever grateful I was. Not only does she have the best personality and is the sweetest, she is truly amazing at what she does. She will work with you on whatever areas you need.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
