This was the first time I received a professional massage from Kaitlin and it was epic! Not only did I feel better after the one hour massage was over, I even slept without knowing I was sleeping while the massage was taking place. Through my experience of receiving therapeutic massages, Kaitlin Lewis is the best!
If you are experiencing physical tension or discomfort, then you need to schedule an appointment with Kaitlin. She has an amazing knack for finding the trigger points and alleviating even the toughest of muscle issues.
I have been a client of Kaitlyn for a few years now. As I get older, I’m experiencing some aches and pains in both muscles and bones. Kaitlyn has a healing touch, which is a gift, and she always listens to my needs and addresses them to where I feel great when my session is over.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
