Why Sacred Healing Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. From the reviews
This was my first cosmetic acupuncture and I’m hooked! My skin is glowing and I can already see a slight difference in the fine lines on my forehead. Kelly is an expert at her craft and so thorough with her approach, making sure to understand every single aspect of your health history.
Sacred Healing has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I have been going to Kelly for different acupuncture treatments. My headaches and allergies have lessened dramatically through acupuncture. More recently, Kelly has been helping me with my nerve pain from shingles.
My mom recommended Kelly to me, and if anyone reading this is on the fence about acupuncture, this is your sign to go for it! I’ve tried EVERYTHING from pain killers and teas to vitamin supplements and essential oils, and nothing has worked for my headaches and stress until I tried acupuncture.
I can’t recommend Kelly more! She is the kindest and sweetest soul and I feel that she truly cares about me and my health goals. Seeing her is the brightest and most relaxing part of my week! I am so grateful to have found Kelly!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
