From the reviews

I have been going here for over two years for acupuncture and sometimes massages. Both services are incredible. I typically go more often for acupuncture because it helps a lot with the chronic pain I have from an autoimmune disorder. Dr. Pena is who I usually see and he is always very thorough and friendly. I've been seeing Dr. Amanda for the last 2 months and she's amazing! I always leave feeling better after she does my adjustments. I sit most of the day in front of the computer and I've seen the benefits of chiropractic care to reduce the tension in my neck, shoulders and upper back.

Round Rock Health & Wellness Center has been God send in my life! Stephanie Hendrix provides me with the best massages I've ever received and they have been so beneficial in restoring health and wellness to my body. And Isaiah's adjustments have made walking without pain and using my shoulder again possible.

I am so happy I found Dr. Blair! I need to find a chiropractor closer to me and I really like the newer techniques of chiropractic care and really searched for someone that did them and she popped up.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
