From the reviews

I can't recommend Rosemary enough! I've had a pinched nerve in my left shoulder flare up several times over the last couple of years, and every time, she has been able to see me quickly and provide customized cupping and massage to ease the pain. I also visit her for regular massages to get all the kinks out!

My days of using Groupons and hopping from one place to another for a good deal. Rosemary Diaz is a gifted massage therapist - caring, healing bodywork. She is a great communicator and builds trust. Her space is immaculate, inviting, and warm. The longer appointments include the option for cupping, hot stones, etc.

★★★★★ — Kathy, Feb 2025

I have been a client of Rosemary Diaz for a few years and I can confidently say she is on of the best massage therapists in the county. From the moment you walk through the door, you will be greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rosemary is truly exceptional.

If you're hurting or in need of some relaxation you need to call Rosemary. I'm so happy she's able to do housecalls! It's super convenient when you have a busy schedule. I've gotten both Swedish massages for relaxation and more pressure massages for when I'm feeling an ache and I love that she can do both so well.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
