If you’re looking for an acupuncturist who is not only highly skilled but also kind, attentive, and dedicated to your health, I couldn’t recommend Jessica more highly. Truly a gem in their field!
Jess is such a gentle acupuncturist and made me feel so safe for my first session! I will definitely come back and recommend everyone I know.
I've been going to Jessica at Rose Wellness in Massapequa for Japanese style acupuncture, and I can’t recommend her enough. I felt a noticeable difference even after my very first appointment—she has such a gentle, thoughtful approach and a true gift for healing.
Had a great treatment with Jess last week! Was having major neck and trap issues and she was able to help me immensely. Her space is beautiful and welcoming and Jess’s demeanor is so calming. After just one treatment I feel so much better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
