I have been seeing Rena for over a year now. I went in seeking treatment for a variety of things, and gradually over time, I noticed a shift in my overall well being. The targeted issues were addressed, but more importantly, I discovered what it was like to experience calm on a daily basis.
I started seeing Dr Munster approximately 6 months ago when severe stress seemed to be manifesting in a # of physical symptoms. I started to experience relief from the first session...with progressively more relief each visit.
i am the luckiest patient! Rena is a delight and still serious about her profession. She is thoughtful, very considerate and thorough. She recenttly recommended follow ups with my doctor and it turned it she was right about it all! Likely she added years to my life i might have missed othwrwise.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
