From the reviews

An exceptional health care provider. I've been to many accupuncturist but none with the depth and insight that he has. I recommend him all the time!

★★★★★ — Stephanie, Apr 2017

I began seeing Ron after having gone through a one year elimination diet to address my many food intolerances. Reintroducing foods was not successful and I was referred to him.

★★★★★ — Cendrine, Jan 2018

"Dr. Ron" as I like to refer to him, is extremely knowledgeable with respect to Chinese medicine and acupuncture. His holistic approach toward healing is something I have never experienced. He is a true healer in every sense. I am in the slow process of heavy metal detox and reestablishing proper mineral balance.

★★★★★ — Ed, Jun 2020

Ron is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate! He takes time to listen and is always looking to find the root cause of your symptoms. I’ve been to many acupuncturists (and medical doctors) for autoimmune disease, and he exceeds them all. I feel so much better and highly recommend him!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
