From the reviews
Hi there, I want to tell you how awesome Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy is. I have been going there for over a month and they have helped me so much with my mobility, strength, and pain levels. Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy has a team of amazing therapists who are caring, smart, and skilled.
I am so pleased to recommend this business for physical therapy! I had surgery to repair a torn meniscus and feel so fortunate to have had Anne as my therapist. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable she was! Anne gave me tips to insure my recovery would be complete, and the exercises we did helped me visibly improve.
Estee has been amazing at the post op recovery for my total knee replacement. She has adapted the plan numerous times to exactly tailor the PT that is appropriate for me including working around a coexisting injury that made some of the recommended standard exercises not viable.
I cannot recommend RMPT highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. The staff greeted me warmly, and their professionalism immediately put me at ease. The therapists here are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also compassionate and dedicated to helping their patients achieve their goals.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
