From the reviews

AMAZING! I grew up in a massage family, so massage has always been in my life. I moved to Grants Pass about 2 years ago and started hunting for a new place to get my massages. I can say that River Stone, particularly Linda and Armando are the best! To find two gems in one location is pretty rare.

Armando Is an excellent massage professional. He is very kind and knowledgeable, and is a good listener when it comes to your concerns, care & therapy. I’ve had several messages due to back and neck injury ; he reset my muscles and helped me recover nicely. His therapy room has amazing ambiance!

I booked a couples massage as a surprise for my husband's birthday!!! It was amazing! I had never had a massage before and Armando was awesome! He was very informative and helped me understand why my body was feeling the way it was. I had been experiencing severe pain in my right shoulder and hip.

★★★★★ — Elizabeth, Oct 2020

Hands down thee best place to get a quality massage! I’ve been going to Armando for about two years and I am always happy with the result. He is worth every penny! He listens to what you need and will work on a specific area. He’s super knowledgeable and super nice! Even the decor is so inviting and relaxing!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
