From the reviews
I came here for my first prenatal massage and was not disappointed. Amanda was excellent. I left the session feeling so relaxed. 10/10 would come back.
Amanda is an exceptionally talented massage therapist who has been instrumental in my journey to healing from chronic pain. She is friendly, compassionate, and is always learning new techniques to bring to her already highly skilled practice.
Amanda was the consumate professional. I was really impressed with her expertise--knowing how muscles would respond: how long to press and how deeply in order to get results. The experience she created wasn't just about relaxation, but about healing.
I don't think I have felt this relaxed in a decade. I saw Amanda because I had some pain in my upper back, shoulder area as well as my leg. After seeing her, I feel so much better. She made me feel very comfortable and seems like a genuinely nice person. I will book with her again. It was a really nice experience.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
