From the reviews

Brooke Poletti is simply The Best. She has the knowledge and background in bodywork that only someone who loves it, and has been (happily!) doing it for a very long time can claim.

I’m a senior, and this was my first massage ever. It was gifted to me by a friend who has raved about the services of Ritual Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I was excited to have this opportunity.

This is the second time I’ve booked an appointment for a massage with Ashley. She is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. She recommended some exercises along with a couple pieces of equipment to pick up on Amazon for some issues I’ve been having with my leg. Highly recommend Ashley/Ritual Therapeutics.

Every visit is perfection. Classy, clean and professional. I love going every month sometimes twice ! It’s my happy place. A healing sanctuary! Very lucky to have Owner Brooke in Auburn. Don’t miss out on the many healing services they offer. I feel amazing when I use the Halo salt booth.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
