From the reviews
The people at Ried PT are amazing. From Jennifer as a rockstar at the front desk to Dr. Ried and Shaniqua, I’m throughly enjoying my time in physical therapy. I have hypermobility and a couple autoimmune diseases, and I was experiencing a lot of pain every day.
I located Ried PT in two ways. First I looking at who my insurance accepted then further googled and Ried is the only Head and Neck PT specialist in Fort Worth! I called and interviewed the staff person. Since my first appointment I have felt well taken care of and heard.
I had an outstanding experience at Ried Physical Therapy! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring. My therapist, Daniel, created a personalized treatment plan that helped me recover quickly and effectively.
I tore/strained muscles and tendons doing a jump rope workout. It was my first serious athletic injury and I thought my athletic season of life had come to an end and I might not walk without a limp.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
