From the reviews

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Emily is truly one of a kind! I’ve been seeing her for years, and she’s the only massage therapist who’s ever been able to really make a difference with my back. My pain had gotten to the point where it was hard for me to do normal daily tasks, but after working with her, I finally got real relief.

I had an amazing experience with Emily at Massage Matters! She took the time to really understand what was going on with my leg pain and focused on the problem areas with great care and attention. The massage was both relaxing and therapeutic. I left feeling so much better and with noticeable relief.

Emily is one of the best — if not the best — massage therapists in the DFW area. She has extensive experience in treating and preventing injuries and is always professional, personable, and thorough. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality, results-driven care.

Emily is awesome! She knows exactly what to do with my difficult feet and ankles during our reflexology sessions. My whole body benefits but what she does helps with swelling in my left ankle which has never been helped before. I am so grateful that I found her😀

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
