From the reviews
When I first met Leeza, I had already ended up in the ER twice because of severe lower back pain. I couldn’t sit, stand, or lie down comfortably, and training had become a challenge. At that point, even everyday movement was frustrating, and I knew I needed help getting back to doing the things I loved.
Dr Leeza is fantastic. I saw her for six sessions for some hip/lower back pain (running injury). She was thoughtful and attentive and offered great suggestions. She provided a variety of treatments including stretching, strength, massage, dry needling and cupping.
I have been doing pelvic floor physical therapy with Dr. Leeza for several months, I’ve had a very positive experience. From the beginning, she’s been professional, approachable, and consistently made me feel at ease—something that’s especially important when addressing sensitive health concerns.
I highly recommend Leeza as a physical therapist! She takes a holistic approach to treatment, focusing not just on immediate relief but on long-term wellness. She introduced me to the concept of dry needling and it immediately relieved the tension and pain around my neck.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
