From the reviews
I had a great experience. Got the 60 min body massage for sore lower back. Left feeling so much better. I highly recommend 47 Foot Spa.
Skilled therapists, professional touch, Serene environment to relax, unwind and get intermittent relief from every stress and pain.
Had the best foot massage & chair massage ever! I’m 8.5 months pregnant and have been searching through the south shore to find a good place for a foot massage and I finally found one. Tony was slow and methodical and listened and found exactly where my pains were.
It’s totally unassuming, but I’ve been going regularly for Tuina massage to help with an old injury, and it’s been amazing. Tony offers holistic bodywork and I always leave feeling so much better. I look forward to being pain free after each session. He really goes out of his way to make sure he is helping.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
