From the reviews
As an older athlete still pushing myself to perform I feel fortunate to have found Revive Acupuncture to incorporate their services into my recovery protocol. I was initially worried when Brent (see previous 5 star review) was no long available on Fridays and Saturdays, but My Linh has been an excellent.
I’ve been coming to Revive for the last 4–5 years, and I can confidently say it’s the best clinic in town! My therapists, Megan and Brent, are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced acupuncturists. I conceived in November of last year and am considered a very high-risk patient.
I found Megan and her acupuncture practice when I was desperately seeking help during my infertility journey. While I did not personally receive acupuncture treatment from Megan herself, I had two acupuncture sessions with members of her team, and both experiences were great.
I recently started going to Revive Acupuncture and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. All of the staff (from the friendly front desk to the amazing providers) are so kind, professional and truly want to help you heal.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
