What I appreciate about Lynn's acupuncture is her truly holistic approach. During our sessions, Lynn is always taking into account both physical and mental-emotional challenges I'm facing.
I first saw Lynn about a year ago with my underlining deficiencies and lack of energy. Thanks to her comprehensive treatments including acupuncture, cupping, ear seeds, herbs, and massages, my conditions have improved tremendously overtime and most of my initial symptoms went away.
I simply love Lynn. She is very professional and skilled with acupuncture and Yoga. She took the time to listen and care for my problems. She is always upbeat and I always feel better after seeing her. She has so many different skills or tools to help with.
I've been to a few acupuncturists. A few worked. Some didn't. Lynn on the other hand, had a different approach from the beginning. She sat me down and did a very thorough intake interview with me. Never did that with any acupuncturist or doctor. It was more like therapy really.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
