Dr. Alessandra is the sweetest, most caring, safe soul out there. i have been to a hand full of doctors with no success and when i went to her i finally started to feel better. she genuinely listens and cares about her patients and i always leave feeling great and have such amazing long term results as well.
I reached out to Alessandra as my regular fertility acupuncturist was on vacation right around my first embryo transfer. The space invites you to relax, and my sessions with Alessandra always left me with a deep sense of relaxation and confidence in our upcoming transfer.
This was such a relaxing and fulfilling experience. Alessandra has such a good/healing energy about her and her approach. I don't think I've ever felt so cared about in an appt as I did with her. She's funny, down to earth and she is amazing at her job.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
